I consider communication to be one of our greatest human and leadership attributes. I feel most at home “creating” and “thinking outside of the box” for solutions to students' unique communication challenges. I love the diversity of working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Special Services Cooperative. I started my career in business which created a strong foundation for my ability to work well with others and to be an integral part of a team.  This lends well to the service delivery team model working closely with parents, educators, other support staff, and students across varied school settings. I have been working in the field of Speech Pathology since 2007.

I have a diverse educational and professional background that has been highly focused on the areas of early language and literacy. I graduated from Sidney, MT high school and then earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.  Next, I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana where I earned my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

When I am not working I enjoy reading, writing, and hiking. My favorite activities include spending time with my husband, Dan, and our five children. We can be found enjoying all the things that the great state of Montana has to offer at home in Red Lodge, MT on the family ranch in Culbertson, MT, along the lakes of Fort Peck, or at the cabin of my mother’s in Livingston, MT.
